A History of Togetherness
Originally organized in 1984, the Skyliners Alumni Association was formed to foster and provide a fraternal bond among its members, their families, and friends. The Association provided social contacts and events for the members.
Membership activity began to dwindle and the Association became inactive in 2016.
After several years idle, and a new generation of Skyliners coming up, the Association is being revitalized. We are now a New York State registered non-profit corporation and are pending 501(c)3 tax exempt status.
The Association aims to provide its members with many perks and useful resources to help in and out of the drum corps community.
Membership is open to any current or former member of the New York Skyliners, Skyliners Alumni, Sky Alumni Chorus, or the Garbarina-Mazarakos American Legion Post 1523. Associate membership is available to families of any of the above mentioned and will receive all of the same benefits.
